Have you guys missed me....?

have you guys missed me? Well we have been super busy lately! With fall now upon us we have been busy enjoying the outdoors and Halloween weekend!! We had Connor's Buddy Walk this weekend. Wow! This was such an amazing experience and I feel so blessed that I was able to be apart of such a special day for such special kids. There were so many kids with such love in their eyes and I could only get teary eyed all day. I just know that Connor possesses the same love that those kids do and I know that is how he is such a fighter. Through it all, he always smiles and keeps on pushing! Thank you again for all the people who came out and also who donated. The organization is a huge support system for my family and Connor. Words cannot express our appreciation!

Ryan's parents are also in town right now so we have been busy with them doing a lot of baseball watching, shopping and hanging out. It has been a fun week for sure!

I am still suffering from back pain and headaches constantly. It's like they just wont go away. Also we saw Brynlee moving from the outside this last week. I felt like I had some sort of mini alien growing inside me! haha! She is the size of a large banana this week, woah, slow down child. I remember when she was just the size of a poppyseed!

Wowzers, Brynn is the size of a cantaloupe these days... no wonder why her kicks and movements are getting stronger!

Everything going great here, besides the new and improved, HEARTBURN! ;) I think I am baking a child full of hair in there!

Halfway Point!

Yesterday we had our 20 week appointment and to sum it up, it went great! She is progressing right on track and I am measuring right on time. She weighs a whoppin 10oz! The doctor was laughing so hard because she was curled up SO tight. She said she will probably be a gymnast because, woah, this baby is flexible! ( I guess she gets that from her dad since he was a gymnast through high school. ) The best news of all was that she is still a GIRL! I have been having nightmares that we would go to this appointment and they would tell us it was a boy. Not that I still wouldnt be happy! We were also told as long as everything is progressing right we might not have another ultrasound. As long as I am not measuring too small or too big, there is a chance we won't see her again. My mom says, we need some anticipation, I guess shes right! Also, I finally gained weight! 4lbs that is! My doctor was happy with that and so was I, she knows I am playing a little catch up so she seemed happy with the progress so far! Oh and she had the hiccups while we were looking at her, how cute!~

People still ask me, are you having morning sickness, how are you feeling etc. And honestly, I feel great! Besides the occasional headache I really cannot complain. It's a little surreal to have such a good go at this so far, but as with any pregnancy, anything can happen! But we are keeping our head high and just doing all the right things for this little one!

A message to Brynlee: Your mom and dad cannot wait to meet you! Daddy is already spoiling you and he cannot wait to kiss you! Mommy is being her crafty self and making you all sorts of goodies, just wait, its only the beginning for you my sweet child! We love you!

19 weeks and Brynlee says hi!

Jeesh! Sometimes I really wonder what she is doing in there! I tell myself the following and it makes me smile: She is practicing for gymnastics class, she is doing toe touches, shes practicing ballet, or she is styling her hair. Haha! Am I am dork or what? But seriously...

Ryan says, she's already grounded for punching her mom! Haha! He gets to feel her move all the time, sometimes she gets shy but she likes to play with her dad!

Can I say something? Oh yeah its my blog. Can I just say how AMAZING pregnancy is? I know some women dont enjoy being pregnant. But I have enjoyed every single moment. From the loss of appetite, headaches, cramping etc etc etc, to the joys of feeling her move for the first time and her nursery inspirations, it is truly amazing.

Ryan and I are going to Colorado November 12th-14th for his grandma's 70th birthday. That was a random planned trip! We talked about it 2 days ago and booked tickets last night, looks like we will be having one last trip on a jet plane before little miss arrives! So excited to see all the crazy Christies :)

Nursery in progress....

I made her a mobile. I saw something very similar on Etsy for $55 and decided I could make it myself!

Went to Home Goods and found the table, lamp and pillow, perfect!!

Her nursery is coming along great! I am so glad we are getting alot of this done since the next couple months we will be SO busy. Still have a blank canvas wall that we need to figure out, but I am loving it all so far!

18 Weeks or 5 months... !

Time is definitly moving fast. Already headed into my 19th week and in my 5th month now! Its crazy to think how busy we will be over the next couple months that will really help time move even quicker. We have Ryan's parents coming into town in 2 weeks so that will keep us busy with baseball games and family time. A wedding in November alongside with Thanksgiving. Maternity pictures in December and of course the wonderful holiday of Christmas! And then into 2011 we go! Ryan and I booked a beach house over New Years weekend... or as I would like to refer to it as my birthday weekend! We will be in San Diego on my actual birthday and we plan to do a whole lot of nothing while we are there. I am so excited for our last little getaway and to get to relax on the beach cuddled up in blankets sitting around the fire. It just sounds so perfect and what we need. This of course wont be our last little getaway, but the last one without little Brynlee taggin along :) Which I am okay with! Vacations will be so much more fun with her! And then after all that craziness... the baby shower! We have decided to have it on January 8th, invites will be sent out the end of next month so be on the lookout all you lucky ones :) Then just when we have time to breathe, my cousin is getting married so we have all the bride (and groom's too) to be's parties! So needless to say, time should fly! But it is all FUN stuff! We cannot wait for the next couple months. I am glad we got a lot of the big stuff done in the nursery since we will be so hectic over the next couple months. Anyways, I feel like I am rambling and your probably getting bored now... :)

Brynlee is moving around like CRAZY all the time. I feel her all morning, day and night. I felt a little push on the outside of my tummy but with much pressure that I put. I tried to get Ryan to feel it but she wasn't ready to play with her daddy quite yet. His time will come soon that he gets to feel his little girl squirmin! He talks to her every night and tells her how much he loves her, its amazing. She will be one daddy's little girl I am sure! Until next time...

What will she look like?
Will she have brown hair or blonde hair?
Blue eyes like her mommy or brown eyes like her daddy?
What will be her favorite hobby?
How much will she weigh?
Will she be a good sleeper or keep us up all night?
Oh and...
What day will she make her appearance?! Due date or not, most babies don't come on their actual due date. Will she bake all the way till March 11th or will she come on March 3rd? Who knows!

All I do know is... Ryan and I cannot wait to meet her and smother her with kisses!

(and as I am typing this she is doing sumersaults inside of me hehe)

17 Weeks~

Little Brynlee is moving around like crazy in there- some hours she seems to be having a party! This week she is the size on an onion- great the one thing during my pregnancy I cannot stand to see or smell. That's okay I still love her lots! This weekend we are going to our friends Matt & Christine's wedding shower and Sunday I am headed to Carrie Underwood with my best friend :) Woo hoo to a fun weekend! Oh.. and we might just register... not sure! For any of you mom's out there who have advice on must have items for a baby- comment on this blog with them so I can make sure to take note!
